On the heels of the recently announced Federal Government $7 billion of funding for Carbon Capture Projects, the Alberta Government announced its new program of a 12% rebate on the capital costs of carbon capture projects.  Alberta Premier Danielle Smith stated: “The incentive program is expected to help attract C$35 billion ($25.80 billion) in capital investment and cost the province between C$3.5 billion and C$5.3 billion.1
