Faith for All Premier Collection Revolutionizes Fashion Through Faith

Faith for All

The first collection of its kind, Faith For All, is an inspiring showcase at the intersection of fashion and faith. Faith For All magnifies the things closest to your heart, allowing you to hold on to your faith wherever life takes you. Irwin Sternberg is an award-winning creator of the iconic Jerry Garcia Neckwear. He presents a lifestyle company, Faith For All. Capturing brilliant, never-before-seen images of authentic faith-based symbols and icons, Sternberg redesigns limited-edition collections of bracelets, masks, apparel, and lighting fixtures. These unique and beautiful designs, microscopic images, of faith-based symbolic icons contain verses such as the Masada Rock, The Dead Sea, Holy Water, Frankincense, Wine, and more. Stunning and subtle, these images emphasize the universal nature of spirituality. It’s worth noting that Sternberg, a marketing visionary and philanthropist, has generated millions of dollars over the years for such dynamic charities as The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, Mothers Against Drunk Driving - MADD, The Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research (founded by Jim Valvano) and many other. Sternberg’s life highlight occurred alongside the Dalai Lama, who presented Sternberg with a Tibetan prayer scarf. Together they honored the contributions toward Tibetan health care through Sternberg’s Ties for Tibet collections. "This blending of fashion and faith has been running through my mind for the better part of my life, and it's glorious to see it come to fruition," Sternberg reflected. “Faith for All will empower people to wear and surround themselves with their faith...” The use of photomicrography to capture beautiful abstract explosions of crystallized patterns and colors from authentic images of spiritual icons unite science, education, and health. "I've known Irwin for over 20 years. He has a wonderful knack for creating the unique to energize people, drawing them in and inspiring them," says Martin Savage, longtime CNN broadcaster. "His latest breakthrough merging fashion and spirituality comes at a time when many in the world need to feel uplifted. It's a great idea, and I'm not surprised - Irwin's got a million of them." Faith For All tells unique stories that re-contextualize how people express their beliefs, showing each spiritual icon’s universal relevance. And how the meaning of each spiritual icon holds. These subtle, understated expressions of faith allow the wearer to feel the beauty of their spirituality. Each new Faith for All collection will honor different religions with their meaningful icons. Of course, Faith For All products also raise funds for worthy causes, the Covid-19 response fund and Biobus, a mobile laboratory that helps students discover, explore and pursue the field of science. The Significant Burden of Migraine Disease

YourUpdateTV

The National Headache Foundation announced findings from a new survey, Preventing Migraine Attacks: A Current Perspective, which characterizes the experiences of people living with migraine and highlights the physical and emotional barriers to preventive treatment. Recently, Jill Dehlin, Chairperson for the National Headache Foundation (NHF) Patient Leadership Council – and someone who suffers from migraines – teamed with YourUpdateTV on a nationwide satellite media tour to discuss this debilitating disease. A video accompanying this announcement is available at: https://youtu.be/xavJfPIoufU The survey found half (50%) of people with migraine are extremely dissatisfied with their current ability to control their disease and report a range of emotions as a result, including frustration (39%), exhaustion (29%), stress (19%) and anxiety (15%). Despite the variety of options currently available to treat and prevent migraines, most people with migraine still aren’t able to completely control their disease and the negative effects and feelings that come with it. In fact, most responders (84%) currently taking a preventive treatment wish there was a better treatment option. According to Jill Dehlin, “migraine is the second most debilitating disease worldwide and it impacts all facets of a person’s life, causing significant emotional and physical distress. So many people with migraine live in fear every day because they don’t know when an attack will hit…In this survey, many people reported feeling they are chasing an unreachable goal to get their migraine disease under control, highlighting the need for new preventive treatment options, as well as resources to educate and empower them to take control of their disease.” The survey also explored how migraine disproportionately affects women and people of color to better understand their unique experiences and address challenges. For nearly half of women with migraine disease (48%), hormonal changes related to menstruation, menopause or childbirth triggered worsening of their migraine disease. Black and Hispanic people with migraine reported being more likely to feel worry, fear, and anxiety at the thought of taking a preventive treatment. But when asked about treating their disease overall, 77% of Black and 73% of Hispanic responders say they wish they had sought care sooner. For more information, visit: headaches.org About The National Headache Foundation: Founded in 1970, the National Headache Foundation is the oldest and largest foundation for individuals living with migraine disease and headache disorders. The NHF is the premier educational and informational resource for those in the headache community, health care professionals, and the public. The four pillars of the NHF are education, awareness, advocacy, and research. NHF works to inform policymakers, at the national and state levels, and the general public of the need to help patients get access to safe and appropriate care. Through its WorkMigraine program, the NHF reaches out to employers throughout the US to provide education for their staff and support in their efforts to minimize the cost and impact of chronic headaches. The Foundation works to educate and encourage the 40 million Americans with migraine and chronic headaches to become self-advocates with their healthcare practitioners, insurers, employers, and families. Airports, Take Notice: 84% of Travelers Want Bio-Security Measures to Protect Against Current & Future Pandemics

WarpUV

TEL AVIV, Israel, May 17, 2021 –– Ever stop to think how many hands touch your luggage from the time you leave home, arrive at the airport, and then reach your travel destination? Curious to know how many virus particles fit on a single pinhead? Are you in the habit of disinfecting your luggage after a trip? According to a Post-COVID-19 Air Travel/Bio-Security survey conducted last week, all respondents said they believe their baggage has passed through a lot of hands – 10 or more. Of those, 17 percent believe more than 20 hands have handled their luggage, whether while using a ride service, the baggage handlers at the airport, or hotel personnel. It's no wonder, then, that when COVID-19 hit, consumers were reluctant to travel. More than 55 percent of the consumers who completed the survey, in fact, said they did not travel by air last year because they feared either contracting the virus or potentially spreading it to others. This, and the actions taken by the airline industry as a result of COVID-19, created a huge blow to air travel. According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the pandemic resulted in a 66 percent drop in air travel last year. That’s more than after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak of 2003, and the global financial crisis of 2008. As people around the globe are being vaccinated against the Coronavirus and with more awareness about the devastating effects of virus spread, it’s not surprising that more than 84 percent of respondents said they agree with officials at the world’s leading agencies – the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and the Council of European Unions – that another pandemic is inevitable, and it is critical to be prepared. As with x-ray and other measures taken at airports following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, those same respondents agree airports should take bio-security measures to minimize the health and economic impact of future virus spread. Specifically, when asked if they’d feel safer and more likely to travel by air if luggage would be completely and quickly disinfected using ultraviolet (UV) technology at the airport, 78 percent said yes. For some respondents, the COVID-19 crisis is waning because many have received vaccinations against Coronavirus. Still, only 16 percent said they felt additional bio-security measures are unnecessary. “The COVID-19 virus has inflicted devastating health and economic impact on the world, but the call for bio-security at airports is a practical solution that can lessen or even stop the rapid spread of future contagions,” said Amir Fischer, CEO of WarpUV. “Studies show the most effective way to disinfect items like checked luggage and carry-on bags – many of which are soft-sided or have many handles, zippers and uneven surfaces – is with 360-degree ultraviolet (UV) light bio cleansing. The technology exists, it’s proven fast and effective, and is ready to be implemented.” Some additional data from the WarpUV/SurveyMonkey consumer survey include: When asked whether they realized that 100 million virus particles of COVID-19 could fit on the head of a pin, 62 percent said they had not previously heard that fact. 58 percent of respondents said they have never disinfected their own luggage during or after use. Of those, 28 percent said, in light of the virus spread, they will now start doing so. During the height of the pandemic, the ability to travel by air around the world was heavily curtailed due to flight cancellations, as well as airport closures because baggage handlers or passengers had contracted COVID-19. Just last week, Changi Airport in Si ngapore closed due to a report of COVID-19 cases. Although cases of COVID-19 contracted at airports were widely reported, 55 percent of respondents queried in the survey were unaware of this fact. About WarpUV Warp Technologies and its AirFort® devices are the frontline of prevention of the spread of pandemic by luggage and baggage in airports worldwide and serve as a “disinfection firewall” for continents, countries, and regions. The company was formed in 2020 by veteran Israeli entrepreneurs Amir Fischer, Eitan Haimovich, and Gil Luxenbourg. For more information, visit www.warpUV.com. New Report by Gennev Shows Gaps in Support for Women’s Health and Why It’s Time to Rethink Menopause

YourUpdateTV

A video accompanying this announcement is available at: https://youtu.be/BClIM0LIYr0 Every woman will go through menopause—that’s an estimated 1.3 million women in the U.S. alone who enter menopause every year, yet the topic of menopause is still taboo. Women feel confused about what’s normal, uncomfortable talking about it, and unprepared to manage “the change.” With conversations around fertility becoming more open, menopause still feels like a secret, and that leads to misinformation and a significant reduction in quality of life for too many women. To demystify menopause Gennev created the first-of-its kind Menopause NOW Report with 120,000 women who shared information about their lives and health over the past year. The report offers unparalleled insight into how women are experiencing menopause, with findings that show: 70% of women reported putting off preventative health appointments in the past year because of the pandemic 49% reported using telehealth for menopause care 92% reported more stress on top of menopause-related anxiety in the past year Founded and led by women, Gennev is a Seattle-based digital health platform that offers holistic and comprehensive support for women in all stages of menopause. They offer women a virtual clinic with OBGYNs and health coaches on staff, in addition to educational services, community, and wellness products. The results of this year's Menopause NOW report demonstrate women’s need for more comprehensive support from specialized doctors, health coaches, and their fellow women – services all provided by Gennev. Calls for housing and landmarks for UK’s derelict land - Romal Capital survey

Romal Capital

With Britain still in the grip of an on-going housing crisis, property developers Romal Capital sought the views of the British public on regenerating derelict land and brownfield sites. The national survey* found that 59% of Brits are calling for derelict land to be converted into modern, efficient housing and a place for cultural landmarks. More the three-quarters (77%) feel that when brownfield sites are regenerated, they bring a sense of freshness, art and culture to an area improving the lives of everyone around it. However, as these sites stand, 74% believe that derelict sites are eyesores on the nations landscape. Romal Capital’s survey reported that over four-fifths (83%) of respondents feel Westminster governments have failed to prioritise regenerating brownfield sites in their area, in recent years. People in the North East of England (90%) felt strongest about this followed by those in the South East (85%). It follows that a lack of commitment from central government will have a regional impact. 79% of people pointed the length of time it takes for decisions to be made as the most significant hurdle to change. “It’s great to see that people across the country want see their areas improved and repurposed. However, it is clear that speed is the issue more than ambition says Romal Capital’s CEO Greg Malouf. Regeneration and planning have a lot of due process and extensive local bureaucracy, and it is this that needs to be restructured to get things going. Local authorities need more support and resources to streamline these processes and fast track regeneration of these sites.” What to do with all this space? A 2020 report** from the countryside charity CPRE found there was over 25,000 hectares of brownfield land across 21,000 sites in the UK. Enough to fit over 1 million homes. The survey discovered that almost a third (30%) of people would most like to see cultural landmarks built on this unused, derelict land, while a similar amount (29%) want to see modern, efficient homes and communities built to help solve the nations crippling housing crisis. When it comes to regenerated outdoor space, over a quarter, (26%) are in favour of new recreational facilities. “Many people are desperate for somewhere permanent to live and keen to see former industrial and undeveloped areas turned into new, progressive housing neighbourhoods and community hubs.” says Malouf “The authorities must become far more proactive and flexible to allow this to happen.” Notes to the editor *Research findings based on a survey of 2,000 UK households carried out in April 2021 for Romal Capital by LMRMC (Market Research Society approved partner and ESOMAR corporate member). **CPRE Report 2020 About Romal Capital Romal Capital is an international award-winning property developer based in Liverpool. The team brings to the city over 60 years of combined property development experience from across Liverpool, and other major UK and international cities.
